Functions include a minute-counter at the 12 o’clock sub-dial with two windows for the day and month. The date is indicated by the central moon-crescent hand that points to the 31-day calendar. An hour-counter sub-dial at 6 o’clock contains a moonphase window. The 24-hour sub-dial at 9 o’clock vests a sweep-second hand and an hour hand for standard-time, or it can be pre-set in a different time zone if a customer so desires. The sweeping chronograph hand at the center is operated by the two pushers on the case. A day-corrector on the left side of the case eases operation of the complication-set.
Swiss Caliber 7751 automatic chronograph with 25 jewels and a 46-hr power-reserve. Adjusted to 5 positions and hand-assembled with a Nivarox hairspring, Glucydur balance and an Incabloc shock absorption. Retaining chronometer-grade daily accuracy, losing or gaining no more than 5 seconds a day. Decorated with rhodium-plating, geneva stripes, perlage on the base plate, and heat-treated blued screws.
38mm Stainless Steel case with high-polish mid-section and coined bezel. The lugs and free-standing chronograph pushers are high-polished. The push-pull crown and screw-down caseback surrounding the exhibitionist movement display ensure 5 ATM water resistance. The dial and movement are protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflex coating. Crown guards ensure seasonal durability of the quickset crown. The case has a thickness of 13.5mm with a lug width of 18mm.
Guilloche salmon-toned copper dial hand-finished in Towson, Maryland. Featuring three engine-turned sub-dials. The hour-markers and dial rings are rhodium-plated while the blue numerals and minute-indices are applied onto the dial. The copper dial is heat-treated and rhodium-plated to achieve it’s salmon tone. The moon-phase window features a bare-faced moon with stars. The surrounding sky shares the same blued color as the leaf-shaped steel hands.

For scholars and aficionados of early aviation instrumentation, the Cockpit Moon chronograph fuses pilot watch legibility with a triple‑calendar and moonphase complication. Its dial layout echoes the flight dashboards of mid‑20th‑century aircraft, with subdials executed in hand‑guilloché and a balanced aperture displaying the lunar cycle—a reminder of the celestial navigation used by pioneering aviators. Driven by a modified Valjoux/ETA 7751 automatic movement and assembled and regulated in our Towson workshop from Swiss and German components, the Cockpit Moon represents our commitment to preserving horological history while offering a tool that can accompany both researchers and travelers. Each piece is produced in limited numbers to maintain exclusivity and honor the era that inspired it.
