The Towson Subscription Watch, handcrafted by TWC Co-Founder George Thomas, is a tribute to the late 18th-century Breguet Subscription Watch. This 18k rose gold pocket-watch features a single hand and a frosted sterling silver dial, reflecting a minimalist design. Like the original, it operates on a “subscription” model, in which customers must reserve their own prior to the limited production. The movement by George Thomas is built from scratch in-house using vintage tools. It hosts a cylinder escapement with rubies and gold-plating, providing shock protection and temperature compensation like the 18th century caliber it was modeled after. The unique winding mechanism, hand-guilloche by J. Benzinger, and secret signature for authenticity, exemplify Towson’s dedication housing the best craftsmen in the world while maintaining our founder’s traditional style of fine watchmaking.
