Mission Moon I is the inaugural edition of Towson's moonphase chronograph collection. It builds upon the Mission chronograph with an evolved complication set — a full calendar, chronograph, and moonphase display driven by a modified Valjoux 7751 movement finished in-house by master engraver Jochen Benzinger. The 40 mm stainless steel case is coined and polished like a vintage marine chronometer, with rhodium-plated appliqués and blued steel hands dancing across a silver dial reminiscent of lunar regolith. Each watch is assembled and regulated in Maryland to chronometer-level precision and fitted with an engraved caseback celebrating the Mission series. Limited and long retired, Mission Moon I captures the early ambitions of American independent watchmaking and remains coveted by collectors who value both mechanical pedigree and cosmic romance.
