Mission Moon MM250-1

A triple-calendar chronograph for collectors seeking maximum utility and elegance from a mechanical tool watch. This first series of the Mission Moon respects the design principles of the iconic Mission M250, Towson’s first commercial watch that was worn in outer space by NASA astronauts. Yet it boasts an even more impressive array of full-calendar complications with its restructured 7751 caliber. The engine-turned guilloche-style dial in either silver, black, or silver with salmon-toned sub-dials vests a moonphase window, date-calendar, hour/minute counters, and day/ month windows.

The original Mission Moon MM250 launched in 2015 offering three different dial color options - silver, black, silver + salmon. Limited to 250 individually-numbered timepieces in total - 125 black, 125 silver. The series achieves high-end formality for a high-complication sports watch. Evolved from our original Mission M250 chronograph, an instrument made for NASA astronauts at the start of the new millenium and Towson Watch Company’s first commercial series. Prior to launching the first collection of 25 timepieces, several served as a faithful companion to astronauts aboard the Endeavor aircraft on a NASA STS-99 mission, which mapped the earth’s surface from the south of Greenland to the northern edge of the Antarctic in 2000. The Mission Collection today is composed of the same materials and built by the same watchmaker who made America's last chronometer worn on a NASA space mission, Hartwig Balke.
