The Cockpit Moon was designed for both ladies and gentlemen seeking distinction and elegance from a high-complication timepiece. An automatic full-calendar chronograph presented in one of Towson’s most intricate coined cases. The outer date calendar is indicated by the central red moon-crescent hand. Our watchmakers have built a movement based on the 7751 swiss caliber to ease operation of the day, date, month, 24-hour, 12-hour, moonphase, and chronograph counting functions. Aside from the crown's quickset ability, the weekday can be corrected via the pusher on the left side of the high-polish 38mm stainless steel case. The full calendar is laid out on the hand-guilloche copper dial with readability, contrast and class. Available in silver, black, copper, or silver & copper multi-tone. Equipped with blued steel cathedral-style hands. Each dial variant limited to 100 timepieces.
Functions include a minute-counter at the 12 o’clock sub-dial with two windows for the day and month. The date is indicated by the central moon-crescent hand that points to the 31-day calendar. An hour-counter sub-dial at 6 o’clock contains a moonphase window. The 24-hour sub-dial at 9 o’clock vests a sweep-second hand and an hour hand for standard-time, or it can be pre-set in a different time zone if a customer so desires. The sweeping chronograph hand at the center is operated by the two pushers on the case. A day-corrector on the left side of the case eases operation of the complication-set.
